As the successful applicant you will:

• Have previous experience in the operation of aquatic facilities and the knowledge of facility activities
• Hold a current First Aid Certificate (6400, 6401 & 6402) and a Pool Lifeguard Practising Certificate (PLPC) or be able to obtain these within four weeks of your employment- or willing to obtain
• Be registered or be prepared to train as a lifeguard assessor with Skills Active
• Have water testing qualification to meet NZS 5826:2000
• Have a proven track record in managing staff and building a positive team environment
• Ideally have knowledge of pool plant, is not essential but would be an advantage
• Have the ability to lead, train and develop a successful team
