Job Description

What you'll be doing: 

Alexandra Libraries Team Leader Job Description 

  • Oversee the three libraries that make up the Vincent area: Alexandra, Clyde and Omakau.
  • 40 hours per week, including rotational Saturday work.
  • Plan and deliver community programmes, events and partnerships that meets the needs of all of our Vincent library communities.
  • Supporting and developing staff to ensure they have the tools, confidence, and capability to excel.
  • Model excellent customer service skills
  • Manage budgets and financial processes accurately.
  • Ensuring health and safety standards are upheld across all library sites.

Desired Skills and Experience

What we're looking for:

  • Library experience and/or tertiary qualification preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and IT skills.
  • Financial management capability.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Current full driver’s licence.
  • Flexibility to work across the district
